At Family Healthcare of Fairfax, patient panel sizes are significantly smaller than a traditional practice allowing more time to build closer and more meaningful connections and to be available when patients need us most. I strongly believe in utilizing time-honored traditions of medicine such as taking a thorough history and performing a detailed physical examination.

I believe my approach is calm, honest, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I strive to keep abreast of the latest that modern medicine has to offer with regards to diagnostics and treatment. My ultimate goal is a respectful and collaborative patient relationship where we work in close partnership to obtain the best clinical outcomes, quality of life, and overall health in a way that is unrushed and comfortable.

Credentials

Dr. DeWitte graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Psychology and received his medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. He completed his residency training at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Indiana. Dr. DeWitte is licensed in the state of Virginia and Board Certified in Family Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. DeWitte enjoys spending time with his family, dining out, and listening to music.
