We are able to care for you on the same day or within 24 hours of your call. Your appointment time will be honored, and you will be seen promptly in an unhurried fashion. We intend to ensure there will be ample opportunity to address your medical needs at each visit. In general, your annual wellness exam will be 60 minutes, and all other appointments will be 30 minutes in length.

Please contact us first in the event of a non-life-or-death emergency. We are available 24 hours a day for urgent medical problems and can often help with minor emergencies – without your having to wait in an emergency room for countless hours.

In the event of a life-or-death emergency, we advise you to seek immediate medical attention at an emergency care facility or to call 911. After office hours, please call (703) 573-6400 for instructions on how to contact the on-call physician.

Please call for prescription refills, laboratory, and x-ray reports during regular office hours. For lab results, allow three days after the tests are performed to ensure that the results are in.

We will gladly authorize prescription refills within 48 hours of the request for those patients who do not require an office visit. If you are due for a checkup, we will inform you of the need for an appointment.

Should a problem arise that requires the services of a specialist and your insurance requires a referral, call to request a referral. Please allow at least 5 working days for your referral request to be processed. Exceptions are made to the 5-day processing time only in the event of a true medical emergency. Referrals cannot be backdated.
